
BluKit Workbench™ App Privacy Policy
BluKit Workbench scans for, discovers, and can connect and inspect nearby Bluetooth® peripherals.
Bluetooth peripherals by their very nature, may expose sensitive information. Bluetooth peripherals by their very nature also disclose approximate locations for peripherals (typically within 30 meters).
For some Bluetooth peripherals, the nature of the peripheral combined with an approximate peripheral location may be consider sensitive information. For example, a Blood Glucose Bluetooth peripheral discovered by BluKit Workbench could let the user of the BluKit Workbench become aware of a possible health condition of someone nearby. Another example: if BluKit Workbench discovers a Pulse Oximeter and connects to it, sensitive health information may be observed within BluKit Workbench, or if BluKit Workbench connects to a Heart Rate peripheral, sensitive health information may be observed within BluKit Workbench.
Therefore, it is Zion Software, LLC’s strict Privacy Policy that BluKit Workbench App should never be used to connect to Bluetooth peripherals that are not owned and/or managed by the user of BluKit Workbench app.
Further Zion Software, LLC does not collect, expose, or distribute any Bluetooth peripheral data collected by the user of the BluKit Workbench app. As such, Zion Software, LLC maintains that it bears no responsibility, nor liability, in the use or misuse of the BluKit Workbench app for any and all purposes, by anyone not directly employed by Zion Software, LLC or it’s direct subsidiaries.
