BLE Workbench™ App Privacy Policy
BLE Workbench scans for, discovers, and can connect and inspect nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.
BLE devices by their very nature, may expose sensitive information. BLE devices by their very nature also disclose approximate locations for devices (typically within 30 meters).
For some BLE devices, the nature of the device combined with an approximate device location may be consider sensitive information. For example, a Blood Glucose BLE device discovered by BLE Workbench could let the user of the BLE Workbench become aware of a possible health condition of someone nearby. Another example: if BLE Workbench discovers a Pulse Oximeter and connects to it, sensitive health information may be observed within BLE Workbench, or if BLE Workbench connects to a Heart Rate device, sensitive health information may be observed within BLE Workbench.
Therefore, it is Zion Software, LLC’s strict Privacy Policy that BLE Workbench App should never be used to connect to BLE devices that are not owned and/or managed by the user of BLE Workbench app.
Further Zion Software, LLC does not collect, expose, or distribute any BLE device data collected by the user of the BLE Workbench app. As such, Zion Software, LLC maintains that it bears no responsibility, nor liability, in the use or misuse of the BLE Workbench app for any and all purposes, by anyone not directly employed by Zion Software, LLC or it’s direct subsidiaries..
